the silkscreen print for 10k and 18k resistors looks very similar. make sure to solder the right ones in
- power pinheader
the pinheader should only be soldered after the electrolytics and the fuses are soldered. boxed ones will hide the silkscreen indicating the red stripe which is at the edge of the PCB
- standoff pinheaders
the short standoff pinheaders erroneously use a metric spacing. just use the 5-pinheads and cut them into stripes of one and solder only a few as indicated in the detailed manual at step 53-54
- R3 on the Pots PCB is not needed, bridge it with a clipped resistor leg (step 37)
- C2 are on both the components and the panel PCB. To better discern between both of them, in the detailed build document they are labelled as C2 and C2POTS (step 26/45)
- C3 should be styroflex or mica (it should be relatively accurate and stable regarding temperature changes).
## Calibration
calibration is explained in the [calibration document](th-vco1-calibration)

| 1 | Change the oscillators frequency range by using a different value for C3 (Step 27 in detailed manual). Increasing the value lowers the range. A Value of 2.4nF should create a range from ~0.5 Hz to 15kHz. Make sure to use a stable cap here (Styro, Mica, ...) to avoid drift. | Sorry no pic :frowning2: |
